As I approached the cabin I could see a bird flitting around the clearing. Getting closer I managed to capture a picture of a female bluebird gathering material to build a nest and my heart sang with gratitude. I will look forward to watching the activity

Resting a few feet off the trail was what looked like a perfectly good sneaker. I paused for a moment and wondered where the rest of the body was buried. I knew it been left there by a dog, but it was a diversion from isolation.

The maples are casting a red hue over the landscape. Soon the color will turn to fresh new greens when the leaves pop out. I am grateful that we have the opportunity to experience and share the beautiful energy of Spring.
